The years 2022 and 2023 have brought us some great releases from Empire. Releases such as Most High, Fate, Crash, and the re-release of Pressure.

Truly so, the South African rapper was about to release a seven-track EP due to technical difficulties the EP has been set back until further notice, and since it's Empire, you already know, it is filled with speech, prose, poetry, and singing.

During 2019 Empire was artistically known as 99anchor, he released a single he titled WGTS an acronym for Word Game Too Silly. This single received massive hype after a few weeks of its release catching the attention of A&Rs across the globe.

He signed an international record label deal during the year 2020 with Project baby Records LLC based in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Nevada. He composed a 6 track EP(Needs) and a single titled Ronin that reached 300 000 streams on the Spotify shelf. All this was before the record label manager became shifty by violating an agreement between him as a record label and the artist before taking down 99anchor's releases and the record label's social media profiles.

Even though the artist suspects that the record label is exploiting him off his royalties, He legally managed to get back access to his copyrights after he decided to rebrand as an independent artist, yet 99anchor will now and always remain Empire's alter egotistic personality.
